Several of the oils used have antiseptic, healing and anti-inflammatory properties. This balm is ideal for protecting pads from calcium during the winter. It moisturizes and soothes dry or irritated areas and even mosquito bites.
Indications
Warm the balm in your hands and apply lightly to your dog. You can also apply a thin layer to the underside of the paws and massage gently to make it penetrate. It is best to repeat the application often. This will prevent the dog's paws from becoming dry and cracking more easily in winter. It can be applied under the paws before going outside to protect against calcium.
For scrapes and insect bites: Apply a thin layer to the irritated area. A very thin layer can also be applied to a dull area of the dog's fur to restore shine.
