Nina Ottosson's philosophy is that dogs and cats need as much mental stimulation as physical to be well-exerted and balanced. Toys from this same brand help reduce some undesirable behaviors, reduce the speed at which the animal eats, reduce boredom and allow the dog to develop its autonomy and self-confidence.

The games are developed with different levels of difficulty, it is important to choose a level that suits your dog to avoid frustration from not being able to understand how it works or to avoid taking a toy that is too easy that your dog will finish in a short time. We recommend levels 1 for puppies, but for adult dogs it depends on their experience with this type of toy.

These toys can replace food bowls for dogs and cats or be used as intellectual games. In all cases, they stimulate your pet's natural instinct to search for food. We recommend removing the toy once finished, to prevent the animal from chewing certain parts.

The Nina Ottosson Dog Tornado is a good introductory toy for adult dogs or even puppies. First, the dog learns to rotate the different levels to access the hidden food. Second, you can add the plastic bones to block each level. The dog will then have to remove them to access the levels below.
